CTCM was initially undertaken as a pilot project, to determine if the process translated for small regional and rural communities. CTC Myrtleford developed targeted and informed responses and in 2015 students from years 5, 6, 7 & 9 undertook a re-survey. The survey results revealed significant improvements in all targeted areas and in 2016 a community wide decision to expand CTC resulted in its name change to reflect an Alpine Shire wide approach.
Alpine Health auspices CTC Alpine, who have a resurvey of local students planned for late 2018, early 2019.
